Two little fishes

When Jesus fed the multitudes with two little fishes he fed them the TAO.

The book of Revelation is written to

TAO,  the church.

In fact, the book of Revelation is written to the 7 churches of ASIA, (TAO, the church) who ALL rejected Paul as an apostle of Jesus Christ.

TAO means WAY.

Jesus is the way. He is also the TAO.

The TAO is not a religion. It is the knowledge of good and evil. It is the WAY of wisdom.

The TAO was the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden.  Because Adam did not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, (The TAO) Adam was blind, naked, had no eternal life, and could not tell good from evil.

The TAO is the natural order of the universe.

Jesus taught:

Judge not that you be not judged, for as you judge, you will be judged.

This was not a threat. Jesus was not threatening to destroy anyone, or judge anyone. Jesus said god judges no man, and I do the works of the father. Jesus was teaching the natural law of Karma. Actions have consequences.

Even science teaches us this truth. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Jesus taught that your actions have consequences, and if you want good consequences, you should engage in good actions. Evil actions lead to evil consequences.

This understanding of Karmic law is the truth that sets you free from the Karmic wheel of Samsara.

Jesus taught:

Unless you become as a little child you cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven.

This is the Buddhist teaching of “emptiness”, which translates poorly into the English language.

It is the doctrine of un-learning, which is to say, rooting out the lies you have been taught and believed, and discovering the truth. 

To become like a little child is to rediscover joy. It is to rediscover wonder and amazement and love. It is to live in the moment, not in past wrongs, or future worries, but to engage in the present moment of life with all it’s beauty and wonder, as a child does. It is to question everything.

Jesus implored you to ask, seek and find, to question what you have been taught and believed.

Jesus taught:

Unless you hate your father and your mother, you cannot be my disciple.

Jesus never once, in all his ministry, used any form of the word obey. Obedience is not a virtue. He did not teach you to obey, but to question. He taught you to abandon false doctrines, even if those false doctrines were held dear by your parents.

Jesus taught you to rebel against unjust authority, even if that authority was your own parents.

This is quite against the commandments of Torah, which command you to obey your parents, and follow their traditions, no matter how unrighteous and unjust they are.

Is it righteous to stone adulteresses to death? If not, why did Moses do it? If so, why didn’t Jesus do it?

Jesus invited you to follow truth, singlemindedly, rather than any authority figure.

Jesus taught:

The kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of god is not in a church, a pastor, a priest, or a religion.

This is the teaching of awakening, self actualization, individual sovereignty.

Each man is master of his own soul, decider of his own actions and his own fate.

Each individual is a sovereign unto himself, capable of ruling himself. God is in each and every one of us.

Jesus taught:

If your eye is single, your whole body will be full of light

This is the teaching of singlemindedness, or mindfulness.  If you have an eye single to the truth of all things, then your body will be full of light.

But if your eye is divided, between the truth and lie, your whole body will be full of darkness.

Thus, again, the teaching of unlearning.  We must weed out the lies, and embrace the truth. One cannot serve both the truth and a lie. It is impossible. We must have an eye single to the truth. We must always watch and be mindful of the lies that attempt to divert us from the truth.

Jesus taught:

The parable of the good Samaritan.

This is the teaching of compassion.  This is a teaching that begs you to acknowledge and to see yourself in the eyes of another. The doctrine of compassion teaches you to put yourself in the shoes of another, and treat them as you would like to be treated, in similar circumstances.

It instructs you that there is no substitute for personal attention, care and compassion by individuals, to individuals. You do not need tithes nor taxes to care for the poor and down trodden.  You need compassion. You do not need charities. You need compassion.

Charities, tithes and taxes are the work of those who have lost compassion, and refuse to dirty their hands with the poor and indigent.  Most of these moneys go to the rich, and not to the poor.

These are simple teachings.

Where is the truth? It is in you. It is the love you feel for your children. It is your natural rebellion against that which offends your soul. It is your natural inclination to aid and assist the helpless.

Your soul was born of love and founded in love.

The truth is inseparable from love. They are one and the same.

Love is the truth, and the truth is love.

These teachings are eternal.
